Reinaldo J. Negron, DDS, MSD
A native from Puerto Rico, Dr. Reinaldo J. Negron received his dental degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.He pursued a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital with specialty focus in Public Health.
Dr. Negron’s interest in health care and the dental profession emanates from his commitment and advocacy to the well-being of children. He has been involved in volunteer activities to help children in underserved communities receive the dental care they need and deserve; and has lectured on the use and benefits of fluoride varnishes. Dr. Negron is particularly interested in PREVENTION, in particularly the role of optimal nutrition as it interlaces oral health and general health. His professional mission is to provide the best quality of care for all the children who touch his life on a daily basis. Besides being at Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Negron holds staff priviliges at both UCSF Beniofff Childrens’ Hospital in Oakland and Kaiser Permanente in Oakland.His other interests outside dentistry are traveling and an avid fan of tennis.
Dr. Negron is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, and the Alameda County Dental Society.
